Horse training and riding instruction with experienced trainersKathy Borylo - OWNER/TRAINERKathy Borylo grew up on Boston's North Shore and has been riding since she was a child. She has been a professional for more than 30 years and has taught countless people to ride from the ground up. Her specialty lies in getting horse and rider connected together as a team. She prides herself on being able to match each rider to the perfect horse for them, given their individual goals and budget. She is an expert on riding instruction, with a special gift for carefully tailoring riding lessons to address exactly where each rider is in her riding career, so horse and rider can go into the show ring ready to perform at their personal best. She also gets tremendous satisfaction from helping her students through training and riding clients’ horses in the show ring. Kathy enjoys a solid reputation for helping riders who are stalled in their progress or are struggling to build a relationship with what they perceive as a "problem" horse. Each season, Kathy has numerous Junior and Adult riders qualify for and successfully compete in Massachusetts, New England and National finals, including the MHC Medal Finals, the New England Finals, the Show Circuit Medal Finals, the Ariat National Adult Medal and more. Kathy also believes in giving back to the sport. She has served as a past President of the North Shore Horsemen's Association, and has been an active Board member since 1982. She is also a past board member of the Massachusetts Horsemen's Council. Stephanie Andreottola - TRAINER Stephanie Andreottola has been dedicated riding instructor and member of the North Shore horse community for the past 20 years. She concentrates on helping young adults and training horses to be their best in the world of hunters and jumpers. She has also been a proud board member of the North Shore Horsemen’s Association for several of those years. For the past 13 years, Steph has held the position of head coach of the equestrian team at Endicott College. The Endicott team competes in one of the toughest Intercollegiate Horse Show Association divisions in the country and proudly finished 2nd overall in 2006. She has taken Endicott students to the IHSA nationals for each of the past two years. Steph was recently appointed President for the IHSA Zone 1 Region 4 -- a testimony to her leadership skills and knowledge of the sport. She has teamed up with Kathy and SpringTide Farm for the past 10 years. She teaches, trains and shows with both the Endicott IHSA team and with Spring Tide Farm boarders. She is available to take the rider and horse as far as they want to go. Steph's philosophy is if you try your hardest she'll try hers to help you achieve your personal best. Jane Kawash Spring Tide Farm welcomed Jane to their staff in 2006. She has been teaching horseback riding to kids in the area for many years and often been seen out fox hunting with the Wentworth Hunt Club. When it comes to horse care, Jane excels in keeping the horses sound and happy. Jane studied in England for the British Horse Society Assistant Instructor license (BHSAI) - a very highly regarded qualification that is recognized worldwide. Jane uses the skills she learned through that program in the ring at Spring Tide. The kids love her and so do our horses. |
